in case you’re too fucking stupid to realize this on your own, is that each of us are unique and talented and beautiful in our own ways. There are fifteen members of Super Junior, and each of them is special and wonderful and different, and they have all come together as a huge, unlikely but extremely tight family. They are fiercely loyal to one another, protect each other, and support one another. They are 15 talented, amazing people, and together they are unstoppable. 15 = 1.
Donghae has a lovely voice, is a skilled dancer (one of the main dancers of the group) and rapper (in both Korean and Chinese), and is a kid at heart. He loves to make people happy, and loves children and puppies. He wants more than anything to be a father. He has a very classically pretty face and is known as the “Smiling Angel.” Eunhyuk is known for being the main dancer of Super Junior, skilled at rapping and has a pleasant voice when given the opportunity to sing (though he doesn’t seem to think he’s very good), and is a huge goofball. He loves to make people laugh. He’s a favorite on variety programs and hosts a radio program with Leeteuk. He is unconventionally attractive, his pronounced features making him memorable to fans. Hankyung is the Chinese import chosen over thousands at SM auditions in Beijing, who majored in dance at his university and is very skilled in Chinese traditional dance. He has a unique, sweet voice and is the leader of Super Junior M, and extremely popular in China. He was even asked to be a torch bearer in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. He’s a friendly, caring person and is a sort of mother hen over his dongsaengs. His striking features and fit body are a surprising contrast with his soft, sweet voice. Heechul is the second oldest in the group, and is undoubtedly the rascal of Super Junior. He is known for being outrageous and scandalous (in a good way), for his work as an MC and his many memorable appearances on variety shows, and for his alter-ego, Heesica. He is a skilled singer and dancer, and though he often has only small verses and stage moments, he is hard to forget. Loud, obnoxious, and divalicious, Heechul is a talented model and actor. He is known for his princely good looks and feminine charm. Henry Lau is a member of Super Junior M, originally from Canada. He is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Korean, and is known for his dancing skills, his sweet voice, and his mad violin skills showcased first in Don’t Don and later in SJM. He has won many awards for his violin, piano, and popping skills, and is known for his porcelain-doll-like features and “chipmunk cheeks.” His energetic and lovable personality and many talents have garnered him a wide fanbase despite the Only 13 controversy. Kangin is one of the big pranksters of the group and is known for being one of the more manly members. He is known for his gags, his strength, and his unique voice, as well as for his skills as an MC and host of various shows. He has been an actor and a VJ, and is known for being somewhat of a party boy among Super Junior. At the end of the day, Kangin cares for his fellow members and is somewhat of a father figure among the group. He is classically handsome and has a somewhat large, muscular build. Kibum is one of the youngest in the group, and known for his acting and modeling. Though he does not appear as often as the other members in promotional activities, Kibum has made a name for himself in the acting world, from Rainbow Romance to Snow Flower. He has also modeled quite a bit and has a large fanbase in Thailand. His classic rogueish good looks, bright smile, and modest disposition have garnered him many fans. Kyuhyun is the magnae of Super Junior, and is known for his hauntingly beautiful voice and awkward, sweet demeanor. He is a member of SJM and Super Junior KRY with Ryeowook and Yesung, and is held by many as one of, if not the best, voice in Super Junior. He is known for his love of video games, and though he is reserved, he has an unexpected comedic side, as well as a blunt side that catches most off guard. His sweet face and awkward charm make him a fan favorite. Leeteuk is the oldest and the leader of Super Junior. He is known for his lovable personality, enormous success as an MC and host of various programs, unforgettable laugh, and comedic talent. As the leader of Super Junior, he protects his members and cares for each of them dearly, as if they were his children. He has a heart of gold, and approaches everything with a bright and hopeful disposition, and never complains despite the fact that he has so much responsibility placed on his shoulders. He has charming features, an infectious smile, and is a style/hair chameleon. Ryeowook is not the youngest, but is considered the eternal magnae. He is the smallest in the group, a member of SJM and SJ KRY, and is held as having one of the best voices of the group. He is one of the first Korean artists to appear on Chinese postal stamps. He is known for his beautiful voice and for being a skilled pianist and composer, as well as a regular co-host on Yesung’s radio program. He has modeled for several campaigns, and made his acting debut in Attack of the Pinup Boys, his surprisingly adept and hilarious portrayal of the vice president garnering him nominations for Best Supporting Actor and Best Comedic Performance at the Korean Movie Awards. His small stature and adorable features cement his role as the eternal magnae. Shindong is the teddy bear of Super Junior, known for his dance and rapping skills, his amazing energy, and his comedic talent. He has had success as an MC and a host, and landed a major role in the drama Single Dad In Love. He has won awards for his dancing and his comedic skill, is a fan favorite on variety shows, and is a member of Super Junior Happy and Super Junior Trot. Though he has often struggled with his weight, he is known and loved for his large build and sweet demeanor. Siwon is the athlete of the group, and is known for his handsome features, his modeling and acting, his faith, and his drumming skills. He is most known acting-wise for his role in the epic A Battle Of Wits, and is one of the first Korean artists to appear on Chinese postage stamps. He is a member of SJM, and has a large fanbase in Thailand. He is known for his height, his spectacular abs, and his adorable dimpled smile. Sungmin is known as the cutest member of Super Junior, the king of aeygo, and is nicknamed Danhobak. He is skilled in martial arts and dancing, is an amazing magician, has a beautiful singing voice, and can play the piano, guitar, and the drums. He has acted, modeled, and hosted a regular radio program with Sunny (and later Soo Young) of SNSD. He is a man of many talents, and is a member of Super Junior Trot and Super Junior Happy. He is known for his sweet personality, and for his princely good looks and foxlike charm. Yesung is a member of SJ KRY, a host of his own radio program (Miracle For You), a skilled pianist, known for his beautiful voice (he is also held as one of the best voices in Super Junior) and his often self-deprecating humor. He has been cast in the musical South Korean Mountain Fortress for the fall of 2009. He has won many awards for his singing, and is known for the ballad Love Really Hurts, which has been used consistently in the drama Tazza. He’s a prankster, and a serial cuddler. His unique features and breathy baritone make him memorable. Zhou Mi is a member of Super Junior M, and was entered into the SM Audition by a Korean friend; his ability to sing in fluent Korean made him a favorite among the judges and fans alike, and he won the grand prize and was soon after placed in SJM along with Henry Lau. Before his debut in SJM, he had made a name for himself in the Chinese media, appearing as a guest performer on many music shows, modeling, hosting, and winning first place in many singing competitions from 2003 to 2007. With his foxlike good looks, his tall modelesque stature, and his sweet tenor, Zhou Mi has gained many fans despite the Only 13 controversy. |
